This is the post-jam version, with some gameplay tweaks (see below).

Big Catch's Beast Dinner

Humans are gone, and the world belongs to critters. You are the Beast, a fearsome ruler with an insatiable hunger, commanding a wild army to gather food and survive in a treacherous, ever-changing world.

Deploy critters to scavenge precious bones and nuts across a nasty rivers and rocky hills. But beware—you aren't the only one looking for a feast.

Strategise, adapt, and dominate to keep the Beast fed and powerful!

Changes in the post-jam version
  • Fixes an issue with the buying phase where it wouldn't account for newly gained resources.
  • Correctly resets the beast's fullness after each course.
  • Fixes an issue where the beast's roll animation would not play sometimes.
  • Updates some of the resource values to be fairer.
  • Fixes a bug in the world generation code to include the Rat enemy type.

How to Play:

Deploy Critters: Left-Click a critter to select it, then place it on the grid. Each critter costs resources, so choose wisely!

Move & Collect: Left-Click a critter to move it—an arrow will indicate where you command. Critters automatically pick up resources they walk over.

Feed the Beast: Left-Click the Beast's tile to send critters back with food. Keep the Beast fed to advance to the next level! At any point, Right-Click to cancel your action

Combat & Chaos: Friendly critters block each other, while enemies will attack on sight. Protect your scavengers and outsmart your foes!

Real-time strategy meets chaotic creature management in Big Catch's Beast Dinner—a game where every tick counts, and hunger is the ultimate enemy. Can you satisfy the Beast's appetite and conquer the wild?

your mechanic is really creative! and I like that there's a tutorial on the bottom left. but I think it would help the player to make the game a bit more forgiving, and let them replenish resources more between courses.
